so often we reach out
and offer that which we have to give
to sumone who has no need
or does not recognize the value of our "gift"
thus our "gift" goes unreceived
though no fault of our own
and this rejection causes pain
but the real tragedy occurs
when sunone comes along
who has a need for the "gift"
and recognizes the value of what we have to give
but because the memory of rejection
is still so fresh in our mind
We are no longer reaching out

We must realize
That in the realm of Mankind
There are no kings, queens nor presidents
No judges, officers, doctors, preachers nor teachers
Not even fathers, mothers, daughters, or sons
There are only Human Beings
Who wear these titles
and no matter what title a person may wear
From time to time
He or she will make
Some very HUMAN MISTAKES

Being Human,
I will, make mistakes
I will, say things that shouldn’t be said
I will, do things that shouldn’t be done
And these things will bring pain
To myself and unfortunately others
But when the time comes
That I have hurt enough
To ask forgiveness from God above
And understanding from my fellow man
Then I will have the strength
To continue Being Human

We must realize
That others exist for us
Primarily in our own minds
And what they are
Is what we interpret
Them to be
And in many cases
The qualities they possess
Are qualities we give to them
So when someone does not live up
To what we expect them to be
We should not only question them
But also our expectations

Life is a time for learning
We must learn that our Life is as important
as that of any other person on Earth,but never more important.
We must learn that we have every right to Happiness,
yet it is up to us to find and recognize it.
We must learn that. Life is not easy nor is it permanent,
others will come and go, and often their departure will cause us pain.
We must learn to develop a positive attitude. That can handle Life's disappointments.
And we must learn that in order to find Love, we must look inside our own Heart.
For if we can't find it within, we will never find it without.
